About Dr. Christa Blignaut
Dr. Christa Blignaut is a highly qualified periodontist and oral medicine specialist located in Waterkloof Glen, Pretoria, South Africa. Our practice is dedicated to providing specialized care for gum health and a wide range of oral conditions. We focus on diagnosing and treating diseases that affect the gums and jawbone, including the early and advanced stages of gum disease.
In addition to periodontics, our services include the diagnosis and management of oral mucosal diseases, which can be caused by autoimmune conditions, infections, and various other factors. We also offer comprehensive solutions for tooth loss, including state-of-the-art dental implant surgery.
Dr. Blignaut's extensive qualifications include a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BChD), a Master of Dental Surgery in Periodontics and Oral Medicine (MChD), a Certificate in Implant Dentistry, and an Implant Diploma, all from the University of Pretoria.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Blignaut has served as a consultant for Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU) for two years. In this role, she lectures and consults in the Department of Oral Medicine and Periodontology, contributing to the next generation of dental professionals.
